Corey and Adrienne

Corey and Adrienne are two of the nicest, most easy going people on the planet. Their love for each other is clear, but I was also struck by how comfortable they are around each other. They so so so totally belong together. Like, two-souls-destined-to-meet belong together. The whole day was a delight. Everyone celebrated in the glow of true love.

Many many thanks to Luke Snyder, photographer extraordinaire, for the referral. Luke is fabulous. Go to his blog, and see what a magically talented and committed professional can do.

Lost Without You – Closing Montage

Liz is inspirational to me in many ways. She’s a full-on “super mom”, with a career and a beautiful family. Having survived cancer (YAY!), her love of life radiates around her, right there for everyone to see and share. I know I felt very uplifted that night, and during the process of making this video. It’s one of the perks of the job, experiencing moments and magical nights with large, loving groups of people. You can’t beat it.

Liz and Jaspal

Liz and Jaspal’s wedding formalized a strong established relationship. They whole day was a big family-style party, so I suggested a fun “pop song” to help showcase the fun times.

Special thanks to the AWESOME DJ team from RD Productions

Same Day Edit – Wil and April

April and will hired me about a year before their July 2010 wedding. We kept in touch over the following months, sharing ideas and watching some of my favorite wedding videos from The Philippines, Canada, and here in the U.S.. JMag, Bob Nicolas, Threelogy, Stillmotion, and many more. Well I guess she liked them too, because about two months before her wedding April asked about a same-day edit ( a very popular service provided by high end providers world-wide). Having never done one, there was some pretty serious concern about pulling it off. But I definitely wasn’t going to pass up the chance.

So I hired two extra people, and managed to eek out a pretty simple but decent enough edit that played at 8:30 that night.

Lucky to work again with the FABULOUS PHOTOGRAPHER Jessio Cho , everyone had a BLAST all day long.

Patrick and Sarah

Sarah and Patrick were married at the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph’s in San Jose. The original St. Joesph’s Church, California’s first non-mission parish, was built in 1803. The current church was completed in 1885, and underwent a full restoration 1990.
Given the  backdrop of the Cathedral, and the pure and devout message of the song chosen by Sarah and Patrick, I decided to arrange the clips very carefully and in harmony with the lyrics. With such a beautiful bride and scenery like the Cathedral, I felt it was important, as an editor, just to stay “out of the way.” The love this couple has for God and for each other is so powerful, it would do the rest.
Special thanks to Taruan Woo photography for the wonderful posing of the bridal party.
